Engineering considerations
- Geotechnical report, groundwater and nearby structures.
- Approved design, access and working-platform requirements.
- Installation records, inspection and specified acceptance tests.

HOW IT WORKS
Review the treatment design, water supply and handling of returns.
Use the approved installation sequence to introduce and compact stone.
Record the treatment and carry out the specified verification.
APPLICATION & ENGINEERING
Water assists penetration and aggregate placement. Returned water, spoil management and aggregate consumption are coordinated with the installation procedure.
TECHNICAL SERVICE GUIDE
Wet-feed stone columns use water-assisted penetration and column construction. The method requires suitable soil conditions and a planned system for returned water and spoil, particularly where site space or environmental discharge controls are restrictive.
The ground investigation, groundwater conditions and structural requirements inform method selection. Working access, installation sequence and effects on neighbouring structures are reviewed before execution.
Check installation depth, aggregate consumption and column position. Manage returned water and spoil, and verify ground response using the specified acceptance tests.
FROM SITE DATA TO A TECHNICAL PROPOSAL
Share the site location, geotechnical report, structural loads or excavation requirements, drawings and target programme. These inputs allow the engineering team to assess method suitability, equipment access, installation sequence and the required verification plan.
