Engineering considerations
- Geotechnical report, groundwater and nearby structures.
- Approved design, access and working-platform requirements.
- Installation records, inspection and specified acceptance tests.

HOW IT WORKS
Assess ground conditions and the project-specific binder and mixing requirements.
Control the approved mixing process and record treatment parameters.
Use the specified sampling and acceptance tests to verify the treated ground.
APPLICATION & ENGINEERING
In-situ soil is mechanically mixed with cementitious binder. Binder dosage, mixing uniformity and treated-soil strength are verified for the selected process.
TECHNICAL SERVICE GUIDE
Deep soil mixing introduces a cementitious binder into in-situ soil. Suitability depends on soil chemistry, organic content, groundwater and the treatment objective; laboratory and field trials establish an appropriate mix and installation process.
The ground investigation, groundwater conditions and structural requirements inform method selection. Working access, installation sequence and effects on neighbouring structures are reviewed before execution.
Record binder dosage, mixing depth and mixing effort. Test treated-soil strength and assess treatment continuity and uniformity using the approved verification plan.
FROM SITE DATA TO A TECHNICAL PROPOSAL
Share the site location, geotechnical report, structural loads or excavation requirements, drawings and target programme. These inputs allow the engineering team to assess method suitability, equipment access, installation sequence and the required verification plan.
